WHEN STUPIDITY BECOMES CONTAGIOUS

Watching the latest “riot”, in Milwaukee, WI, the images were the same. Burning buildings, cars on fire, other vehicles pushed over, looting, assaulting police.

 Then a bit of a twist. Rioter’s, not to be mistaken as protester’s, started chanting, ” Black Power “. Then as if we slipped into a time warp of 1992 Los Angeles, this mob starts proclaiming violence toward any white person driving down that road. Thankfully there wasn’t a Reginald Denny in the craziness, this time.

I love all people whatever you’re race, religion, whatever your beliefs UNTIL IT COMES TO EITHER CONDUCTING OR PROMOTING HARM TO ANYBODY SIMPLY BECAUSE OF SKIN COLOR OR WHATEVER PEOPLE ARE TARGETING FOLKS WHO HAD ZERO TO DO WITH WHATEVER YOU’RE RIOTING OVER.

If the situation were reversed we would unquestionably be in a racial war. If a white hate group of people started imploring other white’s to harm black motorists for absolutely no reason there would be a war in a nano second.

I pray daily we get a grip on ourselves as a whole. I don’t ever want to see a civil war or any war BETWEEN AMERICAN’S. UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE’RE SYRIA OR ANY OTHER MIDDLE EAST COUNTRY. LITERALLY FIGHTING/KILLING OUR NEIGHBOR’S. 

Are our hearts and minds so seared we can not love each other? I sure hope not

The question that kept coming back to my mind is :When did stupidity become contagious? 

Historically we’ve seen it whether it be the KKK, Black Panthers, but this is far different because LIBERAL WHITEY IS MARCHING WITH THE BLACK LIVES MATTER MOB IN NYC, AT THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION IN CLEVELAND. 

LIBERAL WHITE PEOPLE IF YOU WERE ON THAT STREET IN MILWAUKEE YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY HURT IF NOT KILLED. SO IF YOU ATTEND A BLM “PROTEST” YOU GO FROM A GROUPIE TO A VICTIM AT ANY SECOND.

Stupidity has always been contagious. If there’s enough stupidity eventually even the people who know better succumb to it. Somebody labeled stupidity as “peer pressure” the cliff notes version if everyone else around me is doing this I had better do it as well because I don’t want to be the outsider and considered to be weak.

 Truly though that’s not even a legitimate concern because if everyone else is doing it. They are not looking at you to see if you are too. So that is a myth, bullcrap, you never have to give in to stupidity. It takes far more courage and intelligence to not follow along when the activity is not one, if it were just you by yourself would think of participating in.

POWER and the Misuse Of

As I have seen the past couple of days, two men shot and killed by police officers my initial reaction was…. Heartbreak.

It’s very difficult to discern via a video or two the exact details of these shootings. Obviously race is at the forefront on the mind of most in these incidents.

I don’t question that they’re bad racist police officers. That said, not I nor you know exactly what happened, what the police seen during the actual arrest and shooting. I can’t tell if the man in Baton Rogue, LA was reaching for his gun or an officer’s gun. The store owner/witness couldn’t say for certain either. He said, the man had his elbow/wrist moving and movable.

The man in Minnesota we have no idea other than what his girlfriend said.

I wish we all knew for certain EXACTLY what happened. At the end of it there’s two men dead and police officers looking horrific and like murderers.

If that is the case it’s my prayer and hope they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I’m not glossing over the race factor. It’s been black people dying at the guns of mostly white officers. I’m not made that way. I live in a building that’s predominantly black and I love a great deal of them. The one’s I don’t care for are because they’re jerks never because of skin color. I dislike white people too because of who they are, how they treat me, not because of skin. We all bleed red.

When ANYONE in a powerful position makes a bad or outright disgraceful decision it affects a great deal of people.

When a cop, who can take your freedom, takes a life it has a ripple effect especially in today’s society where ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING can be put on your phone, computer, etc in real live time and that’s a problem. It creates chaos.

If people are killing police in Dallas then what about the protesters in NY, or any other city. It can easily incite others to do the same.

Killing/Murdering is not solved by more killing/murders.

We must look for peace and love our neighbors. I’m a firm believer in Jesus Christ we need to stop allowing people to remove the Lord from our country. We need more of him in a HUGE WAY. Otherwise our country is going to just see more and more violence against each other.

Does it take terrorists to bring down buildings with completely innocent people filled in them for us to come together????????? If we need that then we’ve already lost our compassion for our neighbors.

Look from evil police, to completely crooked and corrupt Politicians in the highest of OUR office’s. People who do not respect the POWER of their position (s) then we have people who are above reproach and above the law.

Until we hold these idiots accountable then WE ARE ALLOWING THIS. WE ARE ALLOWING police to be murders and Secretaries Of State to allow diplomats to be killed and allow ANY country in the world to see Top Secret Classified Information because the rules every other police officer and every other politician must follow DO NOT APPLY TO THEM.

I’m white. Police in both Michigan and California beat my grandfather. Muskegon police almost killed him. This was in the late 60’s early 70’s. My grandpa was white both police beatings he took came at the hands of white officers.

My mom’s cousin was killed by police while he was in jail. He was white the cops were white.

This notion that police don’t do this to white people is just not true.

As for me and my experiences with police, well they weren’t real good. As a wayward 16 year old, I committed two crimes. Even in my ignorant, immature, and substance abuse mind I knew I had to be a man and confess to what I’d done. So I did. Then an officer pulls me into a tiny room and just flat out tells me about these other crimes around my neighborhood. She then proceeds to ask to look at the bottom of my shoes. Ok whatever, look at them. Now she’s telling me that my shoes match prints found at these other crimes.

Now I know this is total bs I call her on it and tell her your full of shit. I’m not coping to anything other than what I’ve done. If you have this “proof” charge me now otherwise I’m walking out. I walked out. See police don’t get many people owning up to what they’ve done. So because I was a rarity they thought they could intimidate me into confessing to crimes they obviously had zero answers for and thought I’d be the easy one for them. I’ve never trusted a police officer since then.

My best friend and I worked at the same place on 2nd shift. Well it was payday. We each went home to shower and change clothes then like every week we went to a 24 superstore to cash our checks and get whatever else.

So we headed out. Got on a road we’ve been down a thousand times. About a quarter mile down the road we get pulled over. Now my boy’s car was a total junk piece but it ran and everything worked on it. So I’m like were you speeding, dude? He’s like, not in this thing we laughed. The cop gets to the car asks for his license and registration. Then he asks me for my ID. Until this point I was quite. I gave him my ID and say, ” We weren’t speeding, why did you pull us over? He tells me, “don’t worry about it.”

He goes back to his car runs our ID’s comes back and asks if we’d been on that road that night. My friend was like no we were at work, we’re just headed to the store to cash our checks. He goes well we’ve had a recent string of thefts around here. He hands back our ID’s and goes, ” I don’t want to see you guys on this road again.” I replied, ” this is America we haven’t done a damn thing.” He replied, “Just go.”

My friend and I were talking on the way to the store we’re like what an a****** that guy was. I go that’s why I don’t like cop’s man. The guy was harassing us and being a dick because of his position of POWER .

Another run in with police happened with me and 2 friends. One night we decided to just pull an all nighter. We played video games and did some other stuff then someone suggested we go cruising. So we did we went all over the place kinda aimlessly my buddies up front I was in the back.

Were on some country roads and the passenger goes I brought firecrackers. It was not to far past the 4th of July, so these two knuckleheads start lighting them and chucking them out the window. I’m in the back yelling if you get one that comes back here we are fighting and I’m going to rip your head off.

So they stopped with that and we kept driving. We end up in a different city. We went to the stores that were open past 2 A.M. which were like 5 maybe. Anyway were headed down a road in a residential area and the guy who’s car it was had a nice little system in it. The bass banged pretty good.

Now I hung with dude’s and they all had big bass speakers, amps, the whole nine, so I’ve been pulled over plenty of times in a car because of the stereo. In much nicer and smaller areas than where we were that night and been pulled over by plenty of State Police.

So on this night we week having fun riding around going to different stores and stuff. We end up getting pulled over in this residential neighborhood by 4 cop cars. That’s 8 officers. They order the dude driving to turn the car off and throw his keys out of the window. I’m on probation and I’m in the back like look guy if you got dope in here you better cop to it cause they’re going to put it on me if they find even a roach. He’s like no man no dope chill. So I did. The cops ordered us out one by one made us lay on the pavement then cuffed us and put me and my best friend in the back of one car and the guy driving in another one.

I’m like why the heck they pull us over? He’s like I don’t know man. He was nervous because I think that so many cops just for us 3 guys was the first time he’d had multiple police in on a stop. This was probably my 3rd time but I was still nervous because I’m on probation and we weren’t real close with the guy we were hanging with that night.

To make a long story longer they uncuff us the one cop called me a “tall drink of water” something I’d never heard before so the whole trip home me and the guys were laughing our heads off over that expression and how they stopped us like we were on America’s Most Wanted or something.

So I’ve never been beaten by a cop but I’ve been harassed and lied to by them numerous times. I don’t hate cops like I did as a teen but they still make me nervous as heck just because I’ve experienced a few of them abusing their position and power.

So I have no doubts that blacks and Latinos get treated bad by some police but I do have to laugh at guys like Puff Daddy posting on social media about being pulled over something like 4 times in 7 days. It was probably because he got a fix it ticket never got it fixed and they seen a light out or something. Heck maybe they were just fans and wanted an autograph. These “celebrities” are ridiculous.

As I was writers on this the Dallas Murders were actually just starting. That was last night 12 officers shot, 6 killed. Now today 1 cop was killed in St. Louis and 2 others were shot in Louisiana I believe.

Killing police is NOT the answer. We need to love each other and stop the violence and the politicians, athletes, celebrities need to either send a message of love and unity or be quite.

Social media is like the person who sees two people arguing and there’s two types of people in those situations. The agitators and the peacemakers.

The agitator always comes in loud and he don’t care about either person, this guy just wants them to go from arguing to fighting. Everyone’s seen that guy. He’s an ass he gets them fighting then when the crowd gathers he’s like, “I have no idea why they’re fighting.”

The peacemaker comes in speaks soft says, “Guy’s what are you arguing about and then he turns the conversation in a total different direction and pretty soon all 3 are joking and laughing. Instead of being a spark to gas he’s a calming presence who diffuses the situation.

Too much of social media is chalked full of AGITATORS. We need more PEACEMAKERS.

Jesus told us, ” A nation divided against itself can not stand.”

Right now we’re divided against ourselves and we can’t stand for it. We must unite in love and disregard anyone who opposes love and unity.

Hopefully The Survivors Of Orlando Tragedy Find Salvation

As I prayed for the victims and the survivors from the terrorism that struck an Orlando gay nightclub the Lord showed me that in everything there IS A PURPOSE.

Now to those who were fortunate enough to literally get a second chance at life but not just this life but their eternal lives. For all I know every person in that club could’ve been a Jesus believing, bible reading, church going person but let’s be honest the LGTB “community ” is not synonymous with belief in any God, let alone the God of the bible.

You know the God who condemns homosexuality. The God who calls homosexuality an “abomination”.

Obviously only God knows the human heart and inner thoughts and beliefs. So as I prayed and got to thinking about it. I’d be pretty surprised if not one person’s eternal destiny is changed and their beliefs and yes their sexuality.

Look our leaders have made being a part of the LGTB not only acceptable but glamorous. Even TV companies bend over backwards to exploit them. That is what they’re doing, exploiting people because it’s not normal.

Bruce Jenner becoming a woman is/was pure bs. The man seen how much attention his grotesque ex wife and family were getting and the money they were/are making while he was being shutout of the picture by media and was really just mocked because his ex ran all over him with cameras rolling on a ” reality ” TV show.

So what better way to get some of that limelight and money than become a transgender? Clearly his strategy worked but he’s a phony. You can see through the screen this guy is playing a game.

Enough on him, I’m sure most LGTB’s are simply confused, have extremely low, if any, self esteem, been sexually abused or have other mental and emotional issues.

So to fill that void they find others just as confused, or whatever the issue and if it happens to be someone of the same sex that will listen to them, cry with them care about them then so be it.

They found their soulmate and now it’s not only OK to live this way but it’s encouraged and it’s in vogue right now in this country and ANY ONE WITH A perceived bad word about the topic is homophobic, intolerant, ignorant, etc, etc.

Basically I write this to remind people we are here for a reason much higher than our own purposes and pleasures. So while I certainly wish this tragedy had not occurred I do hope and pray that it will change some lives for eternity.

One last note, I know that those sickening whack jobs who proclaim Christianity but live like scumbag heathens will go to these folks funerals and say all sorts of disgusting things. The westboro church does NOT represent Christians nor Christianity.

You all are still in my prayers and I pray that God will heal you from whatever you may have been hurt by in the shooting whether body and or mind.

HOLLYWOOD AND AMERICA’S CURRENT STATE

Dr. Ben Carson is running for President but because he is a man of great faith in Jesus and mostly because he is a Republican black people for the most part have completely shunned him and CNN, MSNBC, basically any news station not named FOX wants to make up lies about this man from when he was like 12 years old and stuff. It’s just saddening that BY FAR THE GREATEST TURN OUT EVER IN AMERICAN HISTORY BY BLACK AMERICANS was for Obama and yet here we have a great black man who actually lives out his faith and the black voters are behind Hillary Clinton, a pathological liar who has no conscience in the fact that she put the entire country at risk by using her own private email server instead of the secured government issued server she was supposed to use.

I seen Spike Lee on an interview the other day, the host turned to politics and asked  his opinions on the candidates. To no surprise he’s pro Clinton, asked about voting for Carson he said,”NO WAY”, asked about the socialist Bernie Sanders he said, “Yeah I’d vote for him.” Asked about any other Republican and same answer “NO CHANCE.”

Hollywood and these celebrities 99% of them are the problem with America. They were no one by the world’s standards like you and I, suddenly they make a movie or tell a joke or record an album and they are who are kids are listening to on the subjects of politics and race and all this important stuff. I’m pretty sure that they have not dealt with racism the average black American has BECAUSE THEY HAVE MONEY. So Spike Lee, Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson and all these other people living in their ivory towers are full of crap. It’s not just the black “celebrities” either, Seth Rogen is a Canadian that came here to make his fortune. He slams all republicans too. These “celebrities” are a huge problem. They become rich and think that they are now somehow relevant in our BIGGEST issues we face as a country and society. I do not want to hear any athlete, musician, actor, or any other entertainer being mouthpieces for the one’s whom keep their bank accounts full of money. Another issue I have is people like, Australian born comedian, Jim Jefferies who is maybe the most vulgar “comic” I’ve ever seen telling us how we need to get rid of guns in this country in which he has made his money and now resides. You don’t come into a man’s home for dinner then bitch about how it was cooked. It’s ridiculous and insulting, if he wants to live in a country where citizens do not have the right to bare arms MOVE BACK TO AUSTRALIA.

Hollywood is UBER liberal. Their appeal is only increasing because this generation of Millennials is all about the liberal ideals they have had shoved down their throats on tv and throughout their school days. All these whiny little liberal, Millennials, who believe that their opinion is the ONLY one that matters and if you have ANY difference of their opinion it’s suddenly a war on some freaking thing. You know where you do not see this at colleges? At the Community Colleges where MOST of the people there are working a job and going to school. These big institutions have kids who have never worked they consider having to go to class a pain instead of a privilege and now we have what we have. A sissified America with whiny brats showing off their participation trophies planning their next protest.

Racism, Gay Marriage, Cuba

Well with the way things are in this constantly changing and constantly are over evaluated in the world we are living in. Here is another opinion/evaluation.

Racism-Confederate Flag ruckus

Being a man who has never been south of Cleveland, Ohio, I had no idea that the Confederate flag was actually still flown in southern state Capitols. Sure I knew white southern’s liked and had one for some reason. I’m not sure why. To me it’s a reminder of a war you lost and has been associated with the KKK not exactly the kind of thing I would want to promote or be associated with. That said, it is a BIG part of the south. Just today the TV station TV Land has canceled showing reruns of the show “The Dukes of Hazard.” Which the car in the show has a Confederate flag on the top of its roof. The show itself is goofy and harmless and the amount of time you actually see that flag on the show is very little and it really is just more of the political correctness run a muck in our Country.

All of this is coming off the heels of a pill popping, dope-head, idiot who went to a bible study at a black church then pulled out a gun and killed 9 black American’s who were simply trying to share their love and faith with him but the sinister wannabe white supremacist wanted to kill these innocent folks because he was CRAZY, STUPID, and JUST IGNORANT. This kid was a punk who wanted to be a racist. He had no bald head, no swastika tattoos, none of the things you would expect from a white supremacist. He was just a twisted doped up IDIOT and you can’t fix STUPID.

So all the backlash started on the Confederate flag and now anything containing it. So by one fool’s evil you have inadvertently given this guy power by doing so. I get wanting the flag taken away from state Capitols as I said, I thought that was already the case but the rest of this is foolishness to me.

American Supreme Court Rules Gay Marriage Legal

While I am not directly affected by this ruling as a straight person. I am however affected by it in the sense that I am a Christian and it does go against my God’s word and as worrisome to me is how being gay or going along with the gay movement is now the vogue and cool thing. I just look at it from the eyes of a little kid growing up in this state of America it has to be confusing when mom and dad are hardly recognized but dad and dad or mom and mom are not only recognized but celebrated like they have done something great. That is who I pray for is the little children whose environment is not even close to what mine was like just 25 years ago.

Cuban Embassy in America’s Capital and US Embassy in Cuba’s Capital

Our President today made a deal to open a more direct dialogue with Cuba as both countries will now have embassy’s in each others capitals. In the past our President also identified Cuba as a “state sponsor of terrorism” in 2014, although it was removed from that list earlier this year.

A quote from a CBS news article just six days ago says this, “On Cuba, the human rights reports said the government continued to use threats and intimidation to suppress peaceful dissent in 2014. And they accused government officials of carrying out “most human rights abuses” at the direction of their superiors.

Although Cuba released 53 political prisoners as part of the normalization process with the United States, the reports noted that Cuban activists in 2014 had recorded the highest number of arbitrary arrests of dissidents in the past five years. And though the government in 2014 indicated it will expand internet and telecommunications access, it “continued to block its citizens’ access to uncensored, independent information in general,” the reports said.

So among the many poor Cuban folks who have risked and LOST their lives trying to make it to Florida on makeshift rafts and other things. We are now becoming allies with an oppressive, corrupt, and communist country. Hmm….does not sound kosher to me.

Before I close this article I would just like you to go back to September 12th, 2001. We were not gay American’s, straight American’s, Democratic American’s, Republican American’s, Christian American’s, Atheist American’s, or any other thing WE WERE AMERICANS.

Today our country is SO DEEPLY DIVIDED by so many different things. Many of which the government is at the root of or at least part of.

Anything divided against itself WILL NOT STAND. That’s not only a biblical principle but a principle we have seen play out throughout the history of the world. So we better put or differences aside and get rid of people who only have an agenda to sell and get united again. If not expect a downfall unlike anything the United States of America has never seen.

My first thought was pure arrogance. Then I thought maybe they were those people

who were so book smart they had no “street smarts” applicable daily life smarts. Lastly I

thought it was just pride that they would not ever confess that someone higher,

someone better, someone smarter made them and the whole earth and rules over it all.

 

Of course it could have been a mix of any of those aforementioned things but pride is a

in the God of the bible and in Jesus Christ His Son whom he sent to reconcile us,

Buffett, or Jobs, or not just remember that God’s ways are higher than our ways and His

Mayweather-Pacquiao : The Answers Should Come Tonight

First I want to start this article by saying both these guys have had issues. Floyd beating

multiple women, Manny cockfighting and various other things each man is not proud of I

would hope.

With that out of the way. Tonight we the boxing world SHOULD finally get some

answers that we have long-awaited. Can Pacquiao get through Floyd’s defense? Can

Floyd overcome adversity in the ring? Is Freddie Roach the greatest trainer ever? Will

Mayweather be able to do in one fight what it took Juan Manuel Marquez to do in four,

knockout Manny Pacquiao? Since becoming a Born Again Christian, will we finally see

the Manny Paquiao who once fought with a killer instinct and no fear will he be able to

be that guy tonight?

The questions that will not be answered tonight primarily comes down to only one. Did

Manny Pacquiao build up his career in the sport by use of PEDs? (Performance

Enhancing Drugs aka steroids). Which if that was the case it’s horrible. Nobody,

especially an athlete, should ever take steroids but when that athlete is in a combat

sport it makes it that much worse, at least to me. Still win or lose we will not truly know

the answer to this tonight. What we do know is tonight both fighters have been tested

for everything under the Olympic Drug Testing requirements, so tonight both men are

clean.

You have to give it up to Mayweather in one respect. He took a page straight from pro

wrestling and made himself the “bad guy”, the heel, and because he is already not a

likeable guy or even an entertaining boxer stylistically, he has people watching just to

see him lose and has ever since he swapped the moniker “Pretty Boy” for “Money”.

So while tonight is historic in a revenue aspect it won’t truly be historic unless Pacquiao

were to win. If Mayweather wins it’s pretty much business as usual but if Pacquiao wins

it changes a lot of stuff. First it takes away Floyd Mayweather Jr’s unbeaten record. It

would also pretty much guarantee a rematch. The man who proclaims himself, “The

Best Ever”, could no longer say that with anything behind it.

So while hardcore boxing fans pretty much know all of this. The occasional boxing fan is

just learning these things about the biggest fight in well over two decades.

I hope it lives up to what we have all been anticipating. Have fun watching and be safe

tonight. If you plan on drinking make sure you do not drive.

Sadly many folks “don’t believe in the bible” because “it was written by men” while that is factually correct it is not completely correct. It is the “Inspired Word of God” the ruler of the universe and everything in it.
The bible is such an amazingly great book, it is essentially God’s manual for us to live by.
Now people say that the bible contradicts itself but the reality is that you have to know a lot to understand the bible. The primary languages in the time of its translation were; Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. So unless you know all of these translations some parts are going to appear to be contradictory.
The truth is the bible is amazingly accurate. Throughout the years archeologists have excavated many of the biblical sites. So to dismiss the bible as anything other than God’s inspired word is not only short-sighted it’s wrong.

It’s Just Art…..Right?

I used to subscribe to the belief that music and movies/tv shows were simply art. That these things had ZERO effect on the person I was. After some years I have found that I was living in my very own fantasy land. The truth is what we watch and listen to VERY MUCH affect us.

While a song, movie, tv show has never killed anyone, the messages in them have and do. These things affect our mindset. If all you listen to is music full of cursing and talking about violence and objectify women then your own mindset takes on these things as being fine and okay. Same goes for what we watch.

If we watch shows or films about nonsensical things like, for example, dolls coming to life and being demented, and killing and so forth it takes the mind to places our minds would have otherwise never gone.

Just to be clear I am not condemning anyone who watches or listens to such things. I just believe after years of seeing this play out in my own life that what we listen to and watch DO AFFECT us. To me it’s like anything else we put drugs, alcohol, bad food, etc… in our bodies, it affects us. The same is true of what we put in our minds.

I pose a challenge to every reader of this post to stop watching and listening ALL things that have cursing, violence, and all the non realistic things that are very popular (i.e.) zombies, and such for 1 WEEK. 7 days. Then let me know if you noticed a change in the way you think and the way you act.

The Parallels Between Our Earthly Father and Our Heavenly Father.

The parallels between God, our Heavenly Father, and our earthly father’s are very hard to reconcile. Perhaps your father was cruel or a drunk or abusive or altogether absent. When a kid grows up with any of these experiences they tend to view God the way their earthly father was toward them.

Many people, sadly, see God as waiting for them to make a mistake so he can bring down punishment and judgement. That is NOT the God of the bible. Jesus said, “He who has seen me has seen my Father.” Jesus never condemned people. The woman caught in the act of adultery He told them, “He who is without sin, cast the first stone.” The people wanted her killed. Jesus said go and sin no more.

Even worse are those who flat-out believe there is no God. How tragic is that? What are we here for just to fulfill our own passions and desires? Why are there laws if there’s no God? Why do we have a conscience if there is no God? Why would we ever feel bad or guilty if there is no God?

My earthly father abandoned my mom and I before I was even born. So I had issues of abandonment with God. My mom married a man who was cruel to me in many ways and that affected the way I seen God, my heavenly Father, and I had to work through that between God and myself.

I don’t know how your father treated you. I’ve seen people with terrific dads turn to the streets and other wayward ways and it was to no fault of their parent’s. It had a lot to do with looking up to the wrong people. Older brother, cousin, friend, whoever it may have been.

Just know this your heavenly Father loves you very much and is always just a prayer away. He will never leave you or forsake you.
